SO I never really got into the Pokemon fandom outside of the games
& now I'm kinda finding I want to.

All this pretty art I see filling icons - is this all from doujin, or is it just art, or...? I would love if someone could point me towards some! (Especially Riley doujin.... ... )

ALSO this has probably already been asked but is there any way to get a Shiny Stone before getting the National Dex? Do want D:

For all my pokemon games, I have never gone and did everything in the game. With the exception being Pokemon Ranger: Shadow of Almia. To qoute Kung-Fu Jimmy Chow....Utterly Defeated, Utterly.

I usually just beat the game and that is it.

With Diamond, I am actually 30-40 away from  having one each of every single pokemon.

But not really sure if I want to collect everything again for Gold and Silver.

So........will you collect everything again? Just play and beat the game? Collect pokemon here and there?

Okay, since I can't stand having to do the hard work that leads up to you catching legendaries, I need some Master Balls :I
Would anyone be willing to give me any? It'd be greatly appreciated. I need at least 2 more, but more would be appreciated for the 3 birds and Hoenn legends 8D

Okay I need a little bit of help.

I can't seem to beat Morty for some godawful reason. When my team was level 23 his lvl 26 gengar one hitted all of them. I'm getting them all up to lvl 25 but I doubt that'll help much.

I'm spending most of my time right now trying to raise my Eevee into an Umbreon but I'm wondering if this is a good solution or if I shouldn't bother and I should raise some other pokemon? If not what would you suggest?

For reference my current team is a lvl 17 Eevee, lvl 20 Nitorina (not planning on keeping her around), lvl 24 Geodude, lvl 24 Bayleef, lvl 24 Slowpoke, and lvl 24 Flaaffy. Thanks for any help you guys can give me, I don't remember Morty being this big of a pain the first time around.

If you have 20 minutes you don't want to do anything productive with, I recommend the almost-complete Pokemon quiz on Sporcle, which asks you to name every single Pokemon (except starters and legendaries) in under 20 minutes. It's not as hard as it COULD be, because typing in any member of an evolutionary line fills out all of them (so typing in any of the Eeveelutions would net you the one you typed, plus every other Eeveelution and Eevee itself), but goddamn, it's still hard. I cheated by checking my spreadsheets of Pokemon I have in all my games (yes, I have spreadsheets, don't judge me) and I still couldn't get 'em all. What about you guys?

(Note: the quiz doesn't count Rotom and Spiritomb as legendaries.)

I'm playing my soul silver and have my sableye follwing me around and when I turned to check it it said it was holding an item and asked if I wanted to take it, so I said yes. Then it made a sad face and said it didn't want to part with it! I checked it's status screen to see if it's holding something and it isn't and now when I talk to him he's pissed at me. o.o Is this just random or does it mean something? I was poking around on serebii but it doesn't say anything about it.

Since most people have their hands on HeartGold or SoulSilver now (I'm waiting for Christmas, hahah) there's a lot of nostalgia brewing with flashbacks to the games of 10 years ago.

I first started playing Pokemon and watching the show back in middle school, and going to the first movie in theaters was one of the biggest events of my childhood, everyone from all of my classes was there, and being a Minnesotan at the time, the whole theater was rolling at the Vikings joke. There were a lot of memories of sharing the fun with my best friends at Burger King getting kids meals and hoping to pull one of the elusive light-up toys or a talking Pikachu, carrying my Pocket Pikachu on my belt in gym class, and trading cards at lunch or on the bus. 2 B.A. Master was the #1 song on the Radio Disney countdown for what seemed like forever....

Does anyone remember the old Pokemon Picture Archive site? I wish that still existed, it was the first place I got to see images from the first movie before it came out in the states, and had old midi music files from the games and other random anime and games. Before Youtube, my friends and I used to make Power Point slide shows set to music instead of AMVs, with clickable links to different slides, it was kind of like making a Choose Your Own Adventure game.

The old first movie and movie 2000 sites still exist!

And the classic Pikachu dance, we probably all watched that thing for way too long as kids.

I ask you, pokemon fans, what are your best old memories from Pokemon?

Would anybody mind helping me get my Graveler and Machoke evolved? If anybody needs Pokemon evolved by trading, we may as well get two birds with one stone.

This is a ANYTHING Pokemon related community yes? :D I must ask people who have the new Soul Silver and Heart Gold games if they know of or have come across any NEW Pokemon! I don't mean Pokemon that technically shouldn't been in the Kanto or Johto regains I mean any new Pokemon that have been created! I know that there were some rumours about this subject and some pictures that had been realised about it ;) but I don't know the truth; anyone know anything? SPILL! I'm sure we'd all been interested

I was wondering if anyone out there with HeartGold possibly had a spare Growlithe or two? >__< Gender, level, nature etc. - it doesn't matter to me. Haha. They are just my absolute favorite Pokemon (I put a picture of one on my dorm door under my name...xD) and I was devastated when I found out they weren't in the SoulSilver version. I completely forgot; it's been a while.

I'm seeking a Water Stone and a Fire Stone. Since I'm not in Kanto yet and my wireless settings no longer allow my DS to connect (grumble), I'm trying to earn enough points in the Pokéathlon Dome.

I've run into a bit of a problem, though - Serebii.net/Bulbapedia both say there should be a Water Stone available as a prize on Friday, but there simply... isn't. About half the prizes listed on the internet aren't available.

Am I missing something?
